How to request deletion of your personal data from CrmOfficialOptimus.

Overview

CrmOfficialOptimus is a customer relationship management platform operated by CV Optimal Memajuan Usaha (the “Company”) that integrates with the WhatsApp Business Platform provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. This page explains how you — as an end-customer who has messaged a business that uses our Service — can request deletion of your personal data.

We honor all verified deletion requests in accordance with Meta's Developer Policies, the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy, and applicable data protection laws.

What Data We Hold About You

When you message a business that uses CrmOfficialOptimus, we may process the following data on behalf of that business:

  • Your WhatsApp phone number
  • Message content you have sent and received
  • Media files (images, documents, audio) you have shared
  • Your WhatsApp profile name and profile picture (if shared)
  • Message timestamps and delivery status

How to Request Deletion

You have two ways to submit a deletion request:

Option 1 — Contact the business directly

Reach out to the business whose WhatsApp number you messaged and ask them to delete your conversation. They are the data controller for the conversation and can action the request from inside the CRM.

Option 2 — Contact us directly

Email our Data Protection team and we will coordinate the deletion with the business on your behalf.

What to include in your request

  • The WhatsApp phone number you used to message the business (with country code, e.g. +62xxx).
  • The name of the business you contacted (if known).
  • A clear statement that you request deletion of your data.
  • Optional: approximate date(s) of the conversation to help us locate your records.

In some cases, we may need to retain limited information to comply with legal or tax obligations (e.g., billing records). Where this applies, we will explain what is retained and why.

What Happens After Deletion

  • Your message content, media files, and profile data are permanently erased from our production databases.
  • Encrypted backups are overwritten within a maximum of 35 days.
  • Aggregated, fully anonymized analytics (which cannot identify you) may be retained.
  • We will send you a confirmation email once deletion is complete.

Meta & WhatsApp Data

Data processed by Meta Platforms, Inc. on the WhatsApp Business Platform is controlled by Meta. We will forward any deletion request that specifically concerns Meta-held data to Meta in accordance with their policies. You may also exercise rights directly with Meta at facebook.com/help/contact.
